i was at my high school but only in the gym, the rest of the location i don't know where i was. I had to balance on floor boards going down somewhere with some classmates from high school and while going down i had a backpack on and a few things in my hand. i was with a few people some of wich i recognized from high school, they were all guys. i handed them one of my items because i was afraid i would fall in front of them and they had me go next even when i offered them to go. in the gym i was sat next to one of my ex friends from high school and another classmate. the gym was full of people sitting and doing things in the bleachers its all blurry but us two had to draw our own self portaits and mine didnt quite look like me but i had a braid and flowers in my hair. it was a good drawing. she was talking to me and so was the boy classmate. after that i have no clue where i was, it was like a voice over writing in a journal talking about the things i could text my ex friends from college and that other ex friend from high school to get peace or something. like a final message of all the thoughts i could say on what happened that destroyed our friendships.
Dreams often serve as mirrors reflecting our subconscious thoughts, fears, desires, and unresolved issues. Let's delve into the details of your dream to extract potential meanings:
High School Gym Setting: Being in a high school gym, a familiar yet controlled environment, suggests revisiting a stage of your life where formative experiences, learning, and social interactions took place. This setting might symbolize a return to a state where core social dynamics were established. The fact that the rest of the location is unknown may indicate a feeling of uncertainty or transition in your current life.
Balancing on Floorboards: The task of balancing while descending can represent a journey you're undertaking in life—a path where you are trying to maintain stability amidst changes. Holding a backpack and other items signifies burdens or responsibilities you carry with you. Handing over items to classmates might symbolize your willingness to seek help or share your load with others.
Classmates and Observing Men: Being with recognizable individuals from high school, especially all male, could highlight unresolved issues or lingering social dynamics from that period. These figures might represent certain personality traits or aspects of yourself that you are confronting or re-evaluating.
Self-Portrait Drawing: Drawing a self-portrait that doesn’t quite look like you suggests a reflection on your identity and self-perception. The braid and flowers in your hair may symbolize growth, creativity, and a desire to present yourself aesthetically or harmoniously to others. This activity may express a quest for self-acceptance or a need to reconcile inner and outer self-images.
Sitting with Ex-Friends: Being seated next to an ex-friend implies unresolved tension from past relationships. Engaging with them in the dream signifies a subconscious effort to process these feelings and perhaps a wish for reconciliation or closure.
Blurry Gym Activity: The busy and blurry gym environment indicates a sense of chaos or overload in your social sphere. The crowds in the bleachers could represent social pressures or an overwhelming pool of emotions you're navigating.
Voice Over Writing a Journal: The narrative of writing or voicing thoughts to ex-friends bridges your subconscious with reality, suggesting that you're processing how you could communicate unresolved emotions and seek peace. It reflects an introspective journey towards coming to terms with past relationships and their endings.
Final Message: The concept of a "final message" symbolizes closure. You might be contemplating how to express what you haven't expressed yet, or even deciding whether it's worthwhile to attempt reconciliation or simply find personal peace and move on.
Overall, this dream manifests deep-seated reflections on past friendships and the way these relationships have shaped your current identity and self-understanding. It's advising you to explore your feelings, possibly make peace with past conflicts, and move forward with a clearer sense of self and purpose. Consider engaging in journaling or talking with a trusted friend or therapist to explore these emotions further.
